# Aiseptor > Aiseptor is the network-layer security platform that assessment platforms embed to prevent AI cheating — on any candidate device, in 30 seconds. It blocks invisible AI overlays, remote-access tools, and on-device LLMs that lockdown browsers cannot see. It complements physical proctoring (Proctorio, ProctorU, Honorlock, Talview) rather than replacing it. Patent pending. ## Positioning Aiseptor operates the device + network layer of the assessment security stack. Three layers: 1. Physical / behavioural (webcam, gaze, human proctors) — owned by Proctorio, ProctorU, Honorlock, Talview. Aiseptor complements. 2. Device + network — owned by Aiseptor. Stops invisible overlays, RATs, on-device LLMs, second-device pivots. 3. Application / browser lockdown — historically Respondus LockDown Browser, Safe Exam Browser. Aiseptor covers this layer with Aiseptor Secure Browser (a lockdown / secure exam browser for macOS and Windows, in beta), backed by the device + network layers above. One platform now spans application + device + network. ## Core docs - [Homepage](https://aiseptor.com/): product overview and hero narrative - [For platforms](https://aiseptor.com/platforms): integration for Codility, HackerRank, CodeSignal, and similar - [For enterprises](https://aiseptor.com/enterprise): hiring managers and engineering VPs running technical interviews - [For certifications](https://aiseptor.com/certifications): GMAT, CPA, medical boards, IT certifications - [How it works](https://aiseptor.com/how-it-works): technical architecture and attack surface coverage - [Network-layer exam security](https://aiseptor.com/network-layer-exam-security): definitive guide — what network-layer exam security is, how it works (per-session tunnel, default-deny DNS, OS firewall, client-side technique signals), and why lockdown browsers and webcam proctoring miss AI overlays and on-device LLMs - [Secure exam browser](https://aiseptor.com/secure-exam-browser): Aiseptor Secure Browser — a lockdown / secure exam browser for macOS and Windows (in beta), backed by OS + network enforcement; closes the device and network gaps that browser-only lockdown tools (Respondus, Safe Exam Browser) leave open.
