# Aiseptor

> Aiseptor is the network-layer security platform that assessment platforms embed to prevent AI cheating — on any candidate device, in 30 seconds. It blocks invisible AI overlays, remote-access tools, and on-device LLMs that lockdown browsers cannot see. It complements physical proctoring (Proctorio, ProctorU, Honorlock, Talview) rather than replacing it. Patent pending.

## Positioning

Aiseptor operates the device + network layer of the assessment security stack. Three layers:

1. Physical / behavioural (webcam, gaze, human proctors) — owned by Proctorio, ProctorU, Honorlock, Talview. Aiseptor complements.
2. Device + network — owned by Aiseptor. Stops invisible overlays, RATs, on-device LLMs, second-device pivots.
3. Application / browser lockdown — historically Respondus LockDown Browser, Safe Exam Browser. Aiseptor covers this layer with Aiseptor Secure Browser (a lockdown / secure exam browser for macOS and Windows, in beta), backed by the device + network layers above. One platform now spans application + device + network.
